Samaritan's Purse

Mission Statement

After sharing the story of the Good Samaritan, Jesus said “Go and do likewise.” That is the mission of Samaritan's Purse—to follow the example of Christ by helping those in need and proclaiming the hope of the Gospel.

C2C Connection

After hurricane Katrina hit the states along the Gulf of Mexico in 2005, Jack and his small group volunteered with Samaritan’s Purse to help provide relief to the affected areas by removing debris and clearing the destruction left by the hurricane. The trip was impactful enough for Jack to bring his whole family back to the area a couple months later. In 2018, Steven and a group from church volunteered with Samaritan’s Purse to provide construction services to homes and churches near Corpus Christi, Texas after the destruction left by hurricane Harvey. The Bock family also participates in Operation Christmas Child with the local church. We’ve seen the devastating effect of natural disasters internationally and we partner with Samaritan’s purse because of their large-scale operations and ability to provide relief to the residents affected.
